Softer Studio offers a variety of equipment for studio and home-use.

  • A variety of looms and equipment, such as shuttles, warping mills, and tapestry bobbins.

F.A.Q.

01 HOW DO I RENT EQUIPMENT?

You can submit a request on the catalogue page via the request form.

02 HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

Rentals require 50% of the total cost as down payment at the beginning of rental period, with the remainder to be paid at end. Payments can be sent via E-transfer or PayPal.

03 CAN I TAKE EQUIPMENT HOME?

Yes, some equipment can be taken home while rented, with any equipment marked with a Kermit GIF denote equipment that cannot be transported. All rentals are to be picked up and dropped off by renter on Tuesdays at the studio, address to be given upon rental confirmation.

04 HOW LONG CAN EQUIPMENT BE RENTED FOR?

All rentals that are taken home have a minimum rental period of one week and maximum period of two months (eight weeks.) Any longer rentals will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

05 WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

Terms and conditions for renting can be found here, and will be sent again upon rental confirmation.
